FTP is Back!
Our new FTP service for online customer orders is now online and ready for you. For those who are not familiar with it, FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. Basically it's a quick and easy way for you to order photos without going through our normal online ordering service. Orders sent by FTP are most like an order given at our store counter, where the customer leaves their digital media and trusts our printer to give them a high quality print. Alternately professional photographers who do their own editing and cropping may want to use FTP to send the best quality files in their preferred format to print as is. FTP can handle large file sizes, large numbers of files and any file format. If you think you would benefit from using FTP, contact us at valleycamera@tds.net or call us.

We print from film, including 110 format
Film still has a wide base of users, but even those of you who went digital probably still have boxes of old film from the '90s or earlier. We can print from the most popular film formats of the last 30 years, including tiny 110 film, right in the store. Even if you have large format film, we can get it printed at our outlab. Bring it in and we'll make sure you get high quality prints.

We have acquired the finest equipment, and invested in the best training for our staff to insure you will receive the best results this technology has to offer. No matter what kind of digital camera or file you have, we can produce the products that you need. The only limit is your imagination.

Creating Gifts from your Photographs:There is no better gift to give to someone you love than a photograph that captures a treasured memory. We are loaded with great ideas that can be created at a reasonable cost and ready in a short period of time.

 

 

Find the negative: Look on the back of your print. The new equipment used in photo finishing will print the negative number on the back. Find your negative and double check to make sure the print matches the negative. We can help you find negatives if you prefer. Bring in your print and negatives and we'll do it for you.

 

 

Make an enlargement: The largest size your negative is capable of producing depends on the quality of the exposure and the quality of the image. We can make up to 12x18 prints on photographic paper directly from 35mm or 120 negatives.  However, we can scan your image and create a much larger photo with the latest inkjet technology. We can print these as large as 24x60 in the store.

 

 

Framing: If you have a tight budget, we have a wide variety of standard sized frames that will compliment your enlargement nicely. We can help by selecting the right color and adding matting to a larger frame.

 

 

Gag Gifts: We can create a copy of an old picture for a 40^th or 50^th birthday party, bachelor party, bachelorette party, or other fun occasion. These can be used to pin the tail on the donkey games or just to rattle the one being honored. These reprints can be sized up to 40x60.

 

 

Large Prints to be cherished: High quality prints using our premium fine art paper will last 100 years. Let us create a large print with a large border around it. Mount it on a quality mounting and have guests to an anniversary celebration, or birthday sign the bordered part of the print. This creates a gift that will have meaning that will last forever.

 

 

Restore something old into something treasured: Take that old photo out of the box and let us restore it to its original look with vibrant color. Whether it has cracks, tears or even if some of the image is missing, we can restore it into a beautiful enlargement that will be worthy of framing and giving.

 

 

Greeting Cards: We have cards with a wide variety of styles that can celebrate any occasion. Births, birthdays, new home announcements, Christmas, wedding announcements and other special events are all available. We can even custom design a card for you!

 

 

Digital Photo Albums: We can provide you with everything you need to create your own digital photo album. We can then make copies of the album for you to share with your friends, family and co-workers.

 

 

Turn your fathers slides into a digital scrapbook: All those old slides of you and your family are sitting in a box and you don't remember the last time you were able to get out the slide projector and view them. Bring in those old slides. We will scan them, and write them to a CD that can be copied and sent to everyone that wants a copy. You and your family will appreciate the surprise of seeing those great memories of your childhood.

 

 

Transfer your family movies and videotapes to DVD: DVD is the best technology available to preserve those movies and tapes. We can even create a menu that allows you to view only the part you want. A fun gift that everyone enjoys.

 

 

Give yourself some lead-time: Photo labs begin to get very busy around the middle of November through the middle of January due to the Christmas season. For the best service and the least amount of stress for you, plan to have your gifts copied, printed, framed and done before the middle of November. Let everyone else go crazy during the four weeks before Christmas!
